Built by a tradesperson
Fraser Shift Consulting is built for trades and service businesses by someone who's actually done the work. That perspective, not a sales script, is what makes the systems fit.

Who's behind it
Fraser Shift Consulting wasn't started in a tech office. It was started in a work truck, by someone watching good companies lose evenings and jobs to office work.
Fraser Shift: embedded AI help for trades and service businesses.
The story
Kadence is an HVAC apprentice. Weekdays he's on the tools: rooftop units, furnace diagnostics, crawlspaces. The kind of work where your hands are full, your phone is in the truck, and it's ringing.
That experience is the whole reason this company exists. Working in the trades, he watched companies lose business constantly. Not to bad work or bad prices, but to unanswered phones. A customer calls at 2 pm while every tech is mid job, nobody picks up, and by the time anyone calls back the customer has hired whoever did. Good companies bleeding real money, week after week, on a ringtone.
The existing fixes weren't built for businesses like that. Big answering services run from offshore call centres. Software platforms that expect a furnace tech to become a system administrator. Agencies selling the same package to anyone, anywhere, with a help desk instead of a person.
So he built one himself, for the business he worked for: a phone answering system trained on the actual company, managed personally, made by someone who knows what a no-heat call in January means because he's been on the other end of one. That grew into the rest of the work. Kadence is now an AI business consultant: he learns how a business really runs, writes a plan to get the time back, and builds the pieces owners would rather not set up themselves.
How we work
Fraser Shift Consulting is built for trades and service businesses by someone who's actually done the work. That perspective, not a sales script, is what makes the systems fit.
The plan is yours to keep, and most of it you can set up yourself. If you would rather not, Kadence builds it inside the software you already use, tests it, and you approve everything before it goes live.
Most tools in your plan are free or under $50 a month. The receptionist has published plans on the pricing page. Everything else is quoted before any work starts, so there are no surprise line items later.
We never name clients without explicit permission. Their phone lines are answered by our systems, and we won't invite disruptions to prove a point. Your business gets the same protection.
“Every system we sell, I'd be comfortable handing to my own boss. That's the bar. If it can't handle a stressed customer with water coming through their ceiling, it doesn't ship.”Kadence, founder, Fraser Shift Consulting
